Cizer Report Builder delivers a robust report layout/design tool in the browser, using the power of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, with No Client Installation required. Global Report, Query and Parameter libraries are used to create and publish both private and public reports. Based on the Microsoft SQL Server Report Design Language (RDL) XML schema, report developers can now produce custom reports and build global Report, Query and Parameter libraries, using Cizer Report Builder running on a centralized server. Reports can be created for personal use, or published on an as-permitted basis. Security linked to each user’s profile also assures user access to only the data each user is allowed to see. Production reports with charts, conditional formatting and dynamic hyperlinking can be developed and managed with Internet Explorer.

Cizer.Net Reporting Security Model
The Cizer.Net Reporting Security Model is based upon the core security concepts of authentication and authorization. Authentication can be defined as the process used for obtaining a users credentials and validating the user to the application. Authorization is the process by which users are permitted access to resources within the application. Developed on these core concepts, the security module used by Cizer products provides an administrator with a variety of methods for validating users to an application and for restricting the application resources granted to its users.
